Neptune 2 Remote Read NEP2T10 Neptune’s lead free T-10® water meters offer water utilities field-proven accuracy, reliability, and long-lasting performance at a wide effective flow range. Every T-10 water meter not only meets but also surpasses the latest AWWA C700 Standard. Its nutating disc, based on the positive displacement principle, has been tried and tested for accuracy and reliability since 1892, guaranteeing maximum utility revenue. The T-10 water meter comprises three major components: a register, a maincase made of lead-free, high-copper alloy, and a nutating disc measuring chamber. The T-10 meter is available with various register options, and for ease of reading, the register can be installed in one of four positions on the meter. The maincase, designed to resist corrosion, can endure tough service conditions, including internal water pressure, rough handling, and in-line piping stress. The innovative floating chamber design of the nutating disc measuring element remains unaffected by meter position or in-line piping stresses. Additionally, a unique chamber seal enhances low-flow accuracy by sealing the chamber outlet port to the maincase outlet port. The nutating disc measuring element utilizes corrosion-resistant materials throughout and incorporates a thrust roller to minimize wear.
